She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Thomas Smith and Mary Katherine Beavers Smith; her husband Stanley Stinson Hancock of Burke's Garden, VA; her sons, William Thomas Hancock (Andrea) of Burke's Garden, VA, Walter Hancock (Phyllis Fazio) of Gratton, VA and Stanley S. Hancock, II (Margaret Ann) of Gratton, VA; her brother Brooks Foster Smith of Burke's Garden, VA.; her friend Linda Griffith; her grandchildren, Casey T. Hancock, Brian Hancock, Timothy Hancock, Ashley Hancock, Brittany Hancock and Megan Grady; and her great grandchildren, Avery Lockhart, Aubrey Lockhart, Ayden Hancock, Abel Hancock, Leland Grady, Gunner Grady and Cara Grady.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home of Tazewell (870 W Main St, Tazewell, VA 24651). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
