She was predeceased by : her parents, Damron Owen and Bertha Owen; and her siblings, Damron Jr., Edsel, Kermit, Shirley Henley, Marilyn Simboli and Ruth Batt.

She is survived by : her husband James Willis "Billy" Fowlkes; her children, David, Donald, Martha and Glenn; her daughters-in-law, Melinda and Debbie; her grandchildren, Brian, Jenna, Suzanne, Daniel, Kathryn, Stuart and Leanne; and her sister Judy Clark. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends.
