We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2021, at the age of 85, Kermit Scott of Callaway, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Scott and Fannie Scott; his siblings, Louise Wagoner, Garnet Woods, Marvin Scott and Carroll Scott; and his son-in-law Ricky Von Altice.

He is survived by : his wife Margaret Shively Scott; his children, Patty Altice, Wayne Scott (Freda), Diane Hynes and Teresa Harrison (Dale); his grandchildren, Nick Altice (Leigh Ann), Ben Altice, Lindsay Altice, Kristin Spencer (Jacob), Patrick Scott (Raven), Joshua Hynes, Walter Hynes (Samantha), Jimmy Harrison (Joseph) and Amanda Harrison (William); and his siblings, Douglas Scott, Carl Scott, Danny Scott (Judy) and Darlene "Dean" Guilliams. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
