With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Wood (Cape Charles, Virginia), who passed away on October 28, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Eva Wilkins Hanby and William Fisher Hanby; her son Charles Michael Wood; and her son-in-law H. B. Bryant. She is survived by : her daughter Anne Wood Bryant of Franklin; and her grandchildren, Erin Bruchert (Kevin), Hilary Dwight (Nathan), Carrie Kulick, Trish Bell (Jay), Hank Bryant (Vickie) and Wendy Harrison.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Catholic Church, 545 Randolph Avenue, Cape Charles, VA 23310 or to a charity of one's choice.
