It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard McDonald Smith Sr. (Carrollton, Virginia), born in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on January 27, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Nellie Black Smith; and his son Steven E. Smith. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Holthoff, Leonard M. Smith Jr. (Debbie, D. Wayne) and Michael D. Smith. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
