It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Castle Jordan (Castlewood, Virginia), born in Dante, Virginia, who passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Castle and Betty Castle; her sister Teresa Booker; and her pet Annie. She is survived by: her husband Sammy Jo Jordan; her son Samuel Matthew "Matt" Jordan (Heather) of St. Paul, Virginia; her grandson Chase Jordan of St. Paul, Virginia; her brothers, Tim Castle (Darlene) of Bristol and Carl "Doo" Castle (Norma) of Castlewood, Virginia; and her siblings' children, Dara Francis (Heath), Chandra Booker, Anthony Austin, Ali Jordan, Dale Merlette and Amanda Austin. She is also survived by several great nieces and a great nephew, other loving family members and an incredible amount of close friends.
