It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Pelham (Catlett, Virginia), who passed away on February 5, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Inez Pelham and Douglas Pelham; and his siblings, Helen Law, Dorothy Harrod, Mary Snead, Rosa Strother, Eleanor Lewis, Lawrence Pelham and Charles Douglas Pelham.

He is survived by : his pet Money; his niece Carolyn; his daughter Barbara Thompson; his wife Joyce Pelham; his children, Girard Thompson (Delores) and Victoria Thompson (Ron); his grandchildren, Adrienne Thompson, John Thompson Sr. (Shanay), Albert Moore, Larry Moore, Cloressa Brown and Chandra Betts; his great grandchildren, Jaden Pelham, Tayvon Pelham, Blaze Brown, Jasmine Thompson, John Thompson Jr. and Larry Moore III; his great great grandchild Autumn; his godson Michael Edwards; his siblings, Betty Jean Murray, Eileen Marie Leadbetter and James Pelham (Lucy); and his brothers-in-law, Dwight Thompson (Earlene) and Daniel Thompson (Ellen). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
