She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Altizer and Janie Wilson Altizer; and her stepdaughter Pamela Denise Brittan. She is survived by: her daughter Pawnee Shirley Jewell of Tazewell, VA; her stepson Douglas Lee Doss, Jr.; and her brother Donald Altizer.
