It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Wesley Cox of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, who passed away on September 7, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Lawry Cox and Gussie Jones Cox; his wife Gwendolyn Davis Cox; his daughter Mary Lynn Shrader; and his siblings, Clyde, Jimmy Cox, Claire, Eva, Katherine, Pauline and Louise.

He is survived by : his daughter Connie Cox Foster of Forest, VA; his sisters, Nancy Mounts, Ruby Slate (Dean), Mary Vencill, Stella Vencill and Sylvia Fields of Troy, VA; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Shrader, Christopher Foster and Caitlin Foster.
