Georgia left this world on August 7, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Henry Ray and Virgie Ethel Blankenship Ray; her husband Arnold R. Shepherd; her son Jonathan Ray Shepherd; and her siblings, Jean Jackson, Janice Richardson, Eva Houchins, Bonnie Hill, Edith "Cookie" Hess, Cecil, Rufus, Chester and Bill Ray.
She is survived by: her son Joseph Shepherd (Jennifer) of Cedar Bluff, VA; her daughter-in-law Tina Shepherd of Cedar Bluff, VA; and her grandchild Ashton Dylan Shepherd. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at 2505 3rd St, Richlands, VA 24641. A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
