He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Sturgill; his children, Rhonda Sturgill of Kingsport, Tennessee and Dwayne Sturgill of Cedar Bluff, Virginia; his siblings, Nancy Allman, Wilma Light and Dennis Sturgill; his grandchildren, Baleigh and Ryker; and his pets, MeMe, Festus and Angel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
