She was loved and cherished by many people including: her brother George Elmer Whitt, Jr.; her husband James H. "Jim" Gibson, Jr.; her daughters, Susan Beth Meade of Cedar Bluff and Virginia Rebecca Gibson Dye (Dolphus) of Pounding Mill; her brother Michael Whitt (Viki) of War; and her grandchildren, Brittney Dye, Daniela, Autumn Meade and Kevin Dye.
