He is survived by: his children, Sam Murphy (Lena) of Paintlick, VA and Cindy Cordle (J. R.); his grandchildren, John Murphy, Stacie Murphy, Austin Cordle and Amber Cordle; and his great grandchild Ryan Cordle.
