She is survived by: her children, Elaine McCoy of Akron, OH, Connie Harrison of Wilson, NC and William Altizer, Jr. of Blacksburg, VA; her grandchildren, Denise Rababy, Andrew Harrison and Kelly Harrison; and her siblings, Hazel Altizer, Rosie Fox, Hattie Stewart, Dorothy Anderson, Pansy Brodt, Ruth Carl, Sadie Stewart, Ronnie Nelson and Raymond Nelson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
