He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kay and Thelma Kay; and his brothers, Frank "Skip" Kay and Larry Kay. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Sparks Kay; his children, Scott Kay (Rhonda) of Baptist Valley, VA and Tracey Hale (Jim Moore) of Bandy, VA; his sister Muriel Ponthieux (Sam) of Sulphur, LA; and his grandchildren, Kayla Hale, Ryan Hale and Logan Hale. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of in-laws and friends.
