He is survived by : his wife Eida of Centreville, VA; his children, Aida Marie Spalding (Buzz Haley) of Lorton, VA and Carl De Gennaro of Centreville, VA; his sister Lucy De Gennaro Klotz (David) of Delray Beach, FL; his brother-in-law Hector Mendoza of Aldie, VA.; his grandchildren, Dillon of Lorton, VA and Brock Spalding of Lorton, VA; his niece Amy Mendoza Toth (Jozef); his great-niece Elaine Mendoza Stripling (Jason); his cousin Stephen Mango; his sister-in-law Sandy; his daughter Stephanie Mango (Ahmed Merribi); and also Audrie Mendoza Kretzing (James).
