It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melinda Sue Hawks of Centreville, Virginia, who passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her brother Michael Reecer. She is survived by : her significant other Greg Deathridge; her parents, Joe Reecer and Mable Reecer; her sister Mechelle; her brother-in-law Nechie Woodard; her nieces, Nikki (Keith James) and Cierra (Justin Duffer); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Joanna, Khalin, Ryker, Soleil, Dax, Knox and Rogan.

Melinda was passionate about donating to St. Jude, and the family ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude's in memory of Melinda.
