Fotini Tsepelias-Giannikos Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2025, at the age of 50, Fotini Tsepelias-Giannikos of Chantilly, Virginia, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Fotini is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Fotini's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dr. Christos Giannikos; her children, Eftihia and Gianni; her parents, Valerie Tsepelias and Haralambos Tsepelias; and her sibling Philippos Tsepelias. She was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. John the Theologian Greek Orthodox Cathedral (353 E Clinton Ave, Tenafly, NJ 07670). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Metropolitan Cathedral of St. John (353 E Clinton Ave, Tenafly, NJ 07670).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greek Language School at the Metropolitan Cathedral of St. John the Theologian in Tenafly, NJ.
