He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Johnson and Lucy Johnson; and his wife Hilda S. Johnson. He is survived by: his daughter Dolores Gould; his granddaughters, Laura Midkiff (Thomas) and Jessica Gould; his great grandchildren, Ian, Cameron and Avri; and his sister Shirley Nichols. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service (227 Thomas Jefferson Hwy, Charlotte Court House, VA 23923). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Phenix United Methodist Church (225 Church St, Phenix, VA 23959). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at the New Hope Methodist Church (6101 Scuffletown Rd, Randolph, VA 23962).
