He is survived by : his wife Ann; his daughters, Georganne Griffin of Raleigh, Catherine DeBoer of Richmond and Becky Kwiatkoski of Charlottesville; and his brother Randy. He is also survived by two Great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Teague Funeral Home (2260 Ivy Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22903). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Church of Our Savior (1165 Rio Rd E, Charlottesville, VA 22901).
