He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Mae Southard and Robert Douglas Southard; and his brother Charles Southard. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his children, Sarah Marie Pulliam, Molly Mae Southard and William Bryan Southard; his granddaughters, Amelia Ann and Charlotte Lee Pulliam; and his siblings, Robert Southard, Bruce Southard and Ida Keele.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Teague Funeral Home (2260 Ivy Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22903). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Culpepper National Cemetery (305 U. s. Ave, Culpeper, VA 22701).
