He was predeceased by: his parents, John K. Spencer and Lozelle Spencer Mays; his stepfather Cecil Mays; and his siblings, Mike Spencer and Roxie Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Donald "Randy" Spencer (Tamara) and Kimberly Wheeler (Cary); his grandchildren, Laramie Shreve (Annie), Cason Spencer, Madalyn Shreve (Tyler) and Hallie Spencer; his great grandchild Raiden Gray; his siblings, Larry Spencer, Ronnie Spencer, Monty Spencer (Pat) and Jean Johnson (John); and his daughter-in-law Tamara. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
