It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Powell Meadors of Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leander Curtis Powell and Virginia Yancey Powell; her siblings, Weldon, Harry, Malcolm, Charles, Claude, Edward, Louise, Mary Bell, Myrtle and Pauline; and her husband Billy L. Meadors.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Kendall (Gary) of Charlottesville and David Meadors of Key West, Fla; her granddaughter Kathryn Wheeler of Southern Pines, N. C.; and her stepgrandsons, Matt Kendall of Spartanburg, S. C. and Wyatt Kendall of Atlanta.
