With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Bledsoe Hicks (Charlottesville, Virginia), who passed away on February 24, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Naomi Eloise Hicks; his sisters, Ann Hicks, Irene Bubnoski (Zenon), Lucy Tomlin and Kendall Nordick (Al); his grandson Ian Erskine Henley; his parents-in-law, Charles and Ella Erskine; and his brother-in-law Tommy Erskine.
He is survived by: his children, Darla Henley (Dave), Carol Craft (Bill) and Carey Hicks (Wanda); his grandchildren, Luke Fry (Shawn), Ned Fry (Theresa), Matti Veldhuis, J. R. and Brandon Nicholas; and his siblings-in-law, Freda Shelton (Stuart), Linda Erskine and Allen Tomlin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
