He was predeceased by: his parents, George B. Barrett and Florence Buck Barrett; his wife Joy; his brother John T. Barrett of Louisville; his granddaughter Josephine G. Barrett; and also Neil Prothers.
He is survived by: his children, David (Martha) and Sarah of San Diego, California; his son-in-law Paul (Misty); and his grandchildren, Seth, Michael, Mallory of Saint Marys, Georgia and Peter of Albemarle County.
