She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lewis Dade Jr. and Hattie Marie Carter Dade; her husband James Nathaniel Beasley; her daughter Rashida Beasley; and her siblings, Wilmer, Hollis, Clair Dade and Joyce Ann Ross.

She is survived by: her daughter Ashera K. Wheaton (Wayne) of Rhoadesville; her grandchildren, Tyrese Wheaton and Lenayah Beasley; and her siblings, Thomas Dade of Charlottesville, Anthenne Hopkins (William) of Orange, Selena Hamilton (Jeff) of Orange and Margo Lewis (Samuel) of Orange.
