He was predeceased by : his parents, James Wilson Brooks, Sr. of Charlottesville, VA and Joyce G. Ashworth of Richmond, VA; and his daughter Tracy Lynn Brooks of Charlottesville, VA.. He is survived by : his wife Sherry Dawn Forkum; his stepdaughters, Natasha Lee Wheeler, Alisha Marie Coleman (David Michael Coleman) and Kayla Faye Sapin (Jack Sapin); his siblings, Joan Parsons Mayo, Thomas Nolton Brooks, Joel Ashworth and Joyce Ashworth Evans; and his nieces and nephews, Isabelle Grace Sauveur, Josephine Linnae Coleman, Cecelia Anne Coleman, Sawyer Dean Coleman and Maggie Mae.
