He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Woolford and Dorothy Woolford; his siblings, Jim, Charles Woolford and Florence Snead; and his son Barry Woolford.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Woolford; his sister Kathryn Moyer (Shields); his sisters-in-law, Doris and Sylvia Woolford; his children, Eric Woolford (Kelly), Larry Woolford (Jeanette), Clay Woolford (Beth), Archie Rainey (Elaine), Carolyn Rainey, Debbie Teodoro, Donna Cyrus and Angela Mosby; his son-in-law Robert Mosby III; and his pet Ginger. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
