She was predeceased by: her parents, Attilio Alessi and Margaret Alessi; her husband William Carew Jr. (Bill); her siblings, Victor Alessi and Susan Parks; and her siblings-in-law, Dennis Hill, John Canova and Sandy Carew.
She is survived by: her sisters, Margaret Hill and Noreen Alessi; her siblings-in-law, Sue Alessi, Peg McCall, Ronald Carew, Ted Parks and Jim McCall; her children, W. Ross Carew III (Sherri), Christopher Carew (Kimberly), Erin Lee (Pat), Brendan Carew (Suzanne) and Colin Carew (Nicole); and her grandchildren, Grant (Katherine), Keegan, Sophia, Greyson, Ryan, Mia, Alex, Benjamin, Gavin and London.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 2600 Barracks Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
