She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles L. Lamb, Sr. and Carrie Lou Brown Lamb; her former husband Granville Brown, Sr.; her siblings, Charles Lamb Jr., Virginia McCoy, Mary Fitzgerald, Shirley Dorman and Rosie Gibson; her daughter-in-law Brenda Brown; and also Wilson Ragland.
She is survived by: her children, Granville Brown, Jr. (Brenda), Gloria Bice (Billy), Steve Brown (Karen), Ronnie Brown and Kenneth Brown; her close friend Hazel Maxie; and her caregiver Danna Racette. She is also survived by extended family including nine grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
