Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Michael Compton Collins of Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 64, on July 29, 2025. He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Bethune Collins; and his stepfather Kermit Nichols. He is survived by: his parents, JoAnn Compton Nichols and Bela Pleaz Collins; his stepmother Susan Ascencio; his children, Liza Collins (Stewart) and Logan (Jessica Trapeni); his grandchildren, Kaia Nelson, Jackson and Oliver Collins; his brother Joe Collins (Autumn); and his sibling's children, Rebecca and David Collins.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 at 5:00 PM at 1455 Oakencroft Cir, Charlottesville, VA 22901. If possible, RSVP to: tinyurl. com/collinscelebrationoflife so that we can get an idea of how many will be in attendance.
