It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert E. Cole of Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Ellis Cole and Jean Huffman Cole; and his step-children, Nancy Napier and Clifford Ivan Napier. He is survived by : his wife Louise Ramsey Cole; his son Robert Ellis Cole (Linda); and his step-daughter Frances Staton (Francis). He is also survived by several grandchildren; and many other loving family members.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 14th 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Hill and Wood Funeral Home - Charlottesville Chapel (201 1st St N, Charlottesville, VA 22902). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 15th 2021 at 11:30 AM at the Riverview Cemetery (1701 Chesapeake St, Charlottesville, VA 22902).
