She is survived by: her husband Donald Wimmer; her son Kris Wimmer (Leah); her grandson Beckett of Ruckersville; her sister-in-law Pam Burks; her nephew Jordan Burks (Bailee); and her aunt Dorothy Peregoy.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to either the Charlottesville Area SPCA or UVA Medical Center for cancer research.
