He was predeceased by: his parents, Mayo Long and Claudia Mae Thomas; his granddaughter Ceonna Aniya Long; his father-in-law Jentis Boyd; his stepfather-in-law James Q. Beattie; and his siblings, Robert Lee Long and Margaret Long-Wims.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Boyd Long; his children, Cleopha Long and Calvin Emmanuel Long; his granddaughter Jacinda Aleece Long of Chase City, VA; his mother-in-law Ola Beattie of Skipwith, VA; his godchildren, Tevarius Brooks and Aiyana Davis; and his brother Samuel Long (Erinetta) of New York. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews.
Public viewing will be held on Tuesday from 2:00 P. M. until 6:00 P. M. Due to Covid-19, a mask will be required for all viewings and services, and we ask that you practice social distancing.
