Hayes; his godsons, Derrick Staten and Leon Marable; his granddaughter Kamryn Hayes; his sisters, Bernice Hughes (Jasper) and Betty Tucker; his mother-in-law Tealia Hayes; and his siblings-in-law, Annie Kersey, Martha Barbosa, Sandra T. Hayes, Deacon Lawrence Kersey and Samuel Hayes, Jr.. He is also survived by other loving relatives and caring friends.
