He is survived by : his daughters, Victoria Hector of Clarksville, VA, Zakeema Hester of Chase City, VA, Kamilya Reavis of Chase City, VA and Shanetta Hester of Chase City, VA; and his siblings, Melvin Hardy of Skipwith, VA, Warren Hardy of Emporia, VA, Joyce Hardy of Clarksville, VA and Nancy "Carolyn" Hayes of Chase City, VA. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
