She was predeceased by : her parents, Ella Keeton and Joe Keeton; her husband Herman Hayes; her children, Pauline White and Paul Hayes; and her sisters, Etta Keeton, Gladys Mallory and Roberta White.
She is survived by : her children, Shirley Greene of Chase City, VA, Willie Hayes of Chase City, VA, Clara Sands of Chase City, VA, James Hayes (Faye) of Chase City, VA, Ronald Hayes (Delores) of Chase City, VA, Cynthia Staten (Joseph) of Chase City, VA and William Hayes (Rosie) of Fayetteville, NC; and her sister Mary Love. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren.
