She was predeceased by : her parents, Clifton Douglas Motley and Ola McDowell Motley; and her sister Yvonne Earles (Edgar) of Defuniak Springs, Florida.. She is survived by : her husband Clyde Smith Powell, Jr. (Smitty); her children, Douglas Powell (Agnes) and Tondea Philpott (Randall); her grandson Kevin Powell (Crystal); her stepgrandchildren, Brian Philpott (Megan) and Megin Philpott; her great grandchildren, Caden and Harper Powell; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Greyson Philpott; her nieces, Tammy Earles and Trecia Meadows (James) of Florida; her nephew Tim Earles (Sarah) of Texas; her great-nephews, Tyler Meadows (Jessica) and Ryan Meadows; her great-niece Katie Earles; and her sisters-in-law, Gayle Taylor and Jeanette Pressley.
