She is survived by: her husband Marvin Royster; her sons, Preston L. Chalmers of Danville and Bishop Patricia D. Chalmers (Angela) of Richmond; her stepdaughter Lucy C. Goode of Yanceyville; her sister Rachel Coleman (Charles) of South Boston, Virginia; her goddaughters, Essie Lewis and Deborah Frye; her sisters-in-law, Bonnie E. Womack and Bessie W. Edmonds; her niece Ann W. Bey; and also Ricky V. Coleman of Richmond, Virginia. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great- grandchildren.
