She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo Rivera and Felicita Rivera; her son Richard Arroyo; and her siblings, Enrique Rivera, Lorenzo Rivera and Sonia Cartagena.
She is survived by: her children, Raul Vega (Margaret), Anna Fernandez (Raul), Francisco Sepulveda (Donna), Yvette Sepulveda (David Hall), Melinda Flores (Armando) and Beatrice McCleese (Andrew); and her siblings, Maria Milagros Torres, Ismael Rivera and Pedro Rivera. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
