She was predeceased by: her parents, Reginald E. Vick and Frances Stafford Vick. She is survived by: her children, Lamont Whitaker, George Whitaker, Janet Henderson of Virginia and Lakita Whitaker of Virginia; her sisters, Barbara Sawyer (Wade) of Elizabeth City, NC and Jacquelyn Vick of Elizabeth City, NC; and her siblings' children, Tabitha Sawyer (Ivan Jamie) of Carrollton, VA, Matt Sawyer of Elizabeth City, NC and Courtney McPherson of Elizabeth City, NC. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
