It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Tarkington Swain (Chesapeake, Virginia), born in Camden, North Carolina, who passed away on November 15, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Tarkington and Sybil Tarkington; her husband Glenn B. Swain, Sr.; her son Ronald C. Swain; and her brother Thomas W. Tarkington.
She is survived by: her children, Beth L. Vance, Glenn B. Swain, Jr. and David G. Swain; and her sisters, Mary Markham and Frauline Winslow. She is also survived by four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many other extended family members and friends.
