He is survived by: his sisters, Antionette Evans, Lenora Perry and Harriet Mercer-Roberson; his wife Juliet Mercer; and his children, Sharon, Anthony and Erick. He is also survived by six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
