He is survived by: his wife Beverly Kemp; his sons, Dyrell Hicks (Joyce) and William Hicks; his grandchildren, Stephen Hicks (Lydia), Kimberly Hicks (Samuel), Matthew Hicks and John Hicks (Lydia); his great grandchildren, Josiah, David, Serena Williams and Elise Hicks; and also Velma Martin.
