It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie J. Brown (Chesapeake, Virginia), who passed away on January 2, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Brown Staton and William Staton; and his siblings, Joyce Staton, Cora Staton Young, Brenda Louise Staton Myrick, Effie Barn and John Staton.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ernest Brown (Susan), Mary Mabry, Linda Harris, Ronald Staton, Horace Staton, Nelson Staton, Wiiliam Staton and James Staton; and his children, Charles Brown III, Clifton M Brown, Anthony Brown, Terrance Brown (Carol), Jacquita Bolton and Nicole (Denzel). He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces/nephews, and many friends.
