It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Thornton Leonard of Chesapeake, Virginia, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leonard and Pauline Leonard. He is survived by: his sons, Heating and Air Conditioning; his wife Margaret M. Leonard; his sons, Daniel Leonard, Jr. (Kelly) and Randy Leonard (Melissa); his grandchildren, Colten Leonard, Tara Hunt, Brandi Miles, Tiago Llamosas and Clayton Orr; and his sisters, Jackie Lidie and Peggy Embry. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Daniel T. Leonard Memorial Fund, which will benefit the Boys Home of Virginia.
