It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Moore Jr. (Chesapeake, Virginia), who passed away on January 4, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia Judy Moore and David Moore Sr.; his daughter Glendora Brown Alston; his adoptive son Utrillo Moore; and his siblings, Mary Davis Moore, Desta Mae Moore and George Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Moore; and his children, Celestine Gorum (Lamont Gorum), Sharon Moore (Freddy Elliott), Yvonne Moore (Brian Williams), Arleane Johnson (Thomas Johnson), Carla Davis (Raymond Davis), Sabrina Moore, Clarence Person, Marvin Brown and Melvin Brown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
