It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye Hankins Berry (Chesapeake, Virginia), born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on June 20, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pallie Estelle Barr Hankins and Luther Gaines Hankins; and her daughter Susan Leigh Berry Reitelbach. She is survived by: her husband Bert; her son-in-law Mike; her grandsons, Adam (Megan) and Andy; and her brother Patrick (Tammy).

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial contributions be made to the Susan Berry Reitelbach Scholarship for Library Volunteers.
