He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Jamison and Mary Sawyer Jamison; and his sister Leda Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Halstead Jamison; his son Michael William Jamison (Denice); his grandson Caiden Lucas Jamison; his sister Irene Quinlan of Alabama; his mother-in-law Marie Nichols Halstead; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Cochran (Evans), Gaynell Flavin (Pat) and Carl Halstead (Joy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
