It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Johnson (Chesapeake, Virginia), born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on November 22, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilbur Lucas Johnson Sr. and Lorraine Spindler Johnson; his wife Michelle G. Johnson; his children, Kurt M. Johnson (Amber), Brandon S. Johnson (Callie), Katie J. Dove (Marshall) and Kyle Padgett (Sarah); his siblings, Wilbur L. Johnson Jr. (Becky), Sheryl J. Blalock (Harold) and Cheri J. Toler (Todd); and his grandchildren, Luke, Shea, Wyatt, Mollie, Harris, Shepherd, Sullivan and Hadley. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
